Leslie’s Stash

My daughter in law, Leslie, is facing a round,
 of chemo, treatments.
Yesterday they met with the
doctors to make a schedule
and detail the
course of action.

She’s young and full of life. Her attitude is amazing. She
has three young children. Too young to watch their Mommy
go through this.

I was able to hit a very nice Yarn Shop, and pick up some
beautiful soft yarn to make some cheery colored chemo
caps.   She doesn’t want pink. However I found some lovely
peach, and blue.

Of course I have plenty of soft yarn from other chemo caps.
 I thought it would be
nice to have a special stash just for her.

This is called Kashmir, from Trendsetter Yarns.
65% cashmere, 35% silk.
Purchased at
 Snow Goose Yarns.

I use the patterns on

Please keep Leslie in  your prayers.
As she is always the one
who is the first to pray for others.

Blessings
Mary Ellen

  2. Mary Ellen,

I’m so sorry to read about Leslie. I’m be sending some Maui magic her way with sincerest wishes for her recovery.

I’ve used and loved this yarn. Unfortunately, I’ve used it for chemo caps, too.

Holding you and your family in my heart and in my thoughts.

I will definitely keep Leslie in my prayers, Mary Ellen. I hate so much that she has to go through this, especially with three little ones. So heartbreaking…

I hope that she gets through the chemo without too many side effects and that she’s back on her feet quickly and beats this damn disease 100%. I’m sure that her great attitude will go a long way in helping her heal and get through this.
