This is another annoying post about my orchids.
She’s opening up more and more and I can’t
take my eyes off her.
This is one my husband gave me on our anniversary
a couple of years ago. I had terrible luck with it
and then last winter I repotted and trimmed
a lot of the stems. I also chopped the [...]

I bought a cute little “China Doll”
(Radermachera sinica)
plant today.
The leaves are shiny a delightful green and this
plant will annoy me to no end. I’ve probably
owned 10 so far.
They sell them as small houseplants. Story
has it that they will grow to 6 feet. (not under
my watch.).
They have a delightful
green and are wispy in [...]

More of Favorite Fridays!!
Kitchen Stuff!
I get a big kick when I see some
old familiar items. Long before
the blenders and food processors.
This was a major item. It’s a chopper.
At the bottom of the jar is a round
wooden disk. You can chop your
garlic, onions, eggs. Whatever
pleases you.
Refrigerators used to come with their own butter
dish. It [...]

Speaking of Agatha (as I often do) I’m reading

I can’t get to the store tomorrow.
We have to get hubby to the doctor.
I need fresh bread..Honestly I’ve been
stretching a loaf and misting it for days.
So I used my handy dandy bread
machine tonight. I had a box of
bread machine mix. Let the machine
do blending, mixing, kneading..two
rises and when it was starting the
third. I kneaded [...]

I know I haven’t been blogging very much.

A lot of things have been going on around

Most of all my niece has safely returned
from Yemen. I’ll share her experience with
you some time in the future.
I was wandering around last night
taking pictures of little things that made
me smile.
Some poor Asiatic Lily’s the rain [...]
