I’m knitting my very first top down sweater.
I never did this before so it should be a riot.
My problem was getting the pattern. When I
found the one I wanted, it was sold in yarn
shops only. I drove an hour to find out the
store that should carry the pattern. They didn’t have

Varsity Bound
(Yeah ME! I figured out how to upload a PDF file.)
I was working on Grandmother’s Favourite (http://butterisafruit.wordpress.com/2009/05/17/grandmothers-favourite/ )
when we found out
our niece’s baby, Matthew would be Christened very soon. So I
did a rush knit on Varsity Bound (sweater I knitted last year).
This one is much smaller and worked up far more quickly than
Baby David’s sweater did.
